MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Tigers picked up a new recruit, they announced on Monday. Former Jackson State guard Ti'lan "Tilly" Boler has committed to Memphis and head coach Alex Simmons.

Boler spent the last four years at Jackson State, most recently under head coach Tomekia Reed, who just took the head coaching job at AAC foe Charlotte.

Boler (6-1) was JSU's leading scorer at 12.9 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game. She's a two-time All-SWAC First Team honoree and led the Tigers to a 26-7 record, including a perfect record in SWAC conference play.

She put up a career high 25 points and 12 rebounds in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against vaunted UCONN.

“Tilly is an addition that we considered priority,” Simmons said. “She is a versatile guard with great size and high basketball IQ. Her love for the game is infectious and I can’t wait to add her skillset and tenacity to our team."

Boler joins Vanderbilt redshirt Bailey Gilmore, Towson forward Quinzia Fulmore and Ole Miss forward Elauna Eaton as spring additions to the Tigers 2024-2025 roster.

Memphis finished 13-17 and 9-9 in AAC play in Simmons first year as head coach.
