MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Memphis Tigers game Thursday night will go on at FedExForum, but the team is encouraging fans to stay at home and cheer the team on from there.
Icy conditions have made roads dangerous, and that’s expected to worsen as the sun goes down.
The Tigers game against South Florida is set for 6 p.m. on ESPN.
Tigers Athletics said information on a ticket exchange for a future game would be announced in the coming days.
For fans who do brave the weather, know that there will be limited concessions. The Terrace Level will be closed, and fans with tickets there will be able to sit in open seats in the Plaza Level or Club Level.
The band, cheerleaders, and dance team will not perform, and in-game promotions are limited. The mystery giveaway will be rescheduled for a future game.
