MEMPHIS, Tenn. — UNC Greensboro senior Mikeal Brown-Jones commits to Ole Miss — that's according to Joe Tipton with On3 Sports.
The 6-foot-8 transfer also had offers from Kansas State and Pitt but chose instead to take his talents to the Rebels.
Brown-Jones averaged 18.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last season and was named 1st-team All-Summit.
The forward is considered, by On3 Industry Transfer Portal Rankings, as the no. 20 overall player in the portal.
Brown-Jones is the first major pickup for Ole Miss head men's basketball coach Chris Beard this offseason.
Beard was being considered for the Arkansas vacancy but chose to turn it down and instead stay on with the Rebels.
