MEMPHIS, Tenn. (localmemphis.com) – The high hopes and expectations for the Memphis Tigers men’s basketball team are growing.
The squad, which boasts the number 1 recruiting class in the country, was ranked number 14 in the Associated Press top 25 preseason poll which was released Monday.
The last time the Tigers were ranked in the AP preseason poll was when they were ranked 11th in 2013.
The Tigers’ season tips off November 5 with a game against South Carolina State at the FedExForum.
