MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Additional daily lane closures are coming to the northbound and southbound directions of Germantown Road, according to the City of Germantown.
The area south of the intersection with Wolf River Boulevard will start to be closed on Monday, March 18 at 9 a.m., according to Germantown city officials.
The city's contractor will reportedly start closing lanes intermittently along Germantown Road near the intersection of Brierbrook Road.
This is to perform storm drain pipe installation, according to Germantown city officials.
The additional lane closures are scheduled to take place daily — from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — for the immediate future as crews work to replace storm drainage pipes crossing Germantown Road.
Drivers are encouraged to follow detour signs or seek alternative routes.
