GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — The southbound lanes of Germantown Parkway are back open two days ahead of schedule after repairs to the Wolf River Bridge forced it to close for more than a week.

A TDOT spokesperson confirmed the opening Saturday, posting a picture of the open lanes of traffic.

The closure started April 12, when TDOT said repairs needed to be made to the Wolf River Bridge.

The southbound lanes were expected to stay closed until April 22, so TDOT could lay out a new polymer concrete overlay to the bridge.
