MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The I-55 bridge is scheduled to close Saturday, Oct. 26, through Monday, Oct. 28, according to West Memphis city officials.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is planning to resume construction activities on the I-55 and Crump interchange, including bridge repairs and inspection. The bridge will close at 4 a.m. on Oct. 26 and reopen at 6 a.m. the following Monday.
The city listed the following detailed closures:
- I-55 SB will be closed at Bridgeport Road in Arkansas
- I-55 NB will be closed at South Parkway* in Tennessee *Local traffic will be allowed to continue to the McLemore exit
- I-55 SB ramp will be closed.
- Crump Boulevard WB will be closed
- A detour will be posted.
