MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person is dead after being involved in a multi-car crash early Friday morning on I-240.
Memphis Police say the three-car wreck happened at 3:12 a.m. between Poplar Ave. and Highway 385, near the Quince Rd. overpass.
Police confirm a woman was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where she later died.
It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
All westbound lanes of I-240 were closed for several hours while the accident was investigated and cleared.
