Traffic moving again on 385 after early morning crash between Winchester & Hacks Cross caused a shut down

A five vehicle accident including an 18-wheeler happened just after 3 a.m.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Update 8:32 a.m. - 385 is now open in both directions and traffic is moving smoothly.

Expect traffic delays Tuesday monring on 385 between Winchester and Hacks Cross due to a five vehicle crash involving an 18-wheeler.

The crash happened just after 3 a.m.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office said all lanes were shut down at one time, but some traffic is now moving westbound. Eastbound lanes are still blocked.

SCSO Patrol is on scene of a multi-vehicle accident involving an 18-wheeler and several other vehicles at about 3am on Hwy 385 between Winchester & Hacks Cross. Traffic is heavy in the area, and anyone driving should explore alternate routes.

SCSO said there are no reported critical injuries.
