MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Don’t drink and drive. That’s the message this holiday weekend as folks get out to enjoy Independence Day celebrations.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office will conduct sobriety checkpoints for the 4th of July.

From 4 p.m. to midnight, deputies will be conducting the checkpoints along Highway 59, Highway 57, and Highway 76.

There will also be saturation patrols throughout the holiday weekend.

*The FCSO is required by state law to publicize sobriety checkpoints
