MEMPHIS WEATHER – It’s been about a week and half since we’ve seen winter-like temperatures, but they are back for the weekend.
Skies will be clear Saturday night across the mid-south. The cold will hit its peak heading into Sunday morning with temps in the upper 20s to low 30s. Make sure to cover any plants that are sensitive to the cold and check on any outside pets.
Things will begin to turn around Sunday afternoon with highs around 60. Clouds will slowly build in throughout the day as a warm front approaches from our south. Showers will be possible overnight Sunday as lows stay in the 40s heading into Monday morning.
Showers and storms will be likely Monday, especially in the morning. Afternoon highs will warm into the low and mid 60s as our warm front continues to push north. Highs will top out in the low to mid 70s on Tuesday with a few scattered storms possible.
Storms are once again likely on Wednesday ahead of our next cold front. Temps will go from the mid and upper 60s on Wednesday to the upper 50s for the second half of the work week. No freezing weather is expected into next weekend, but lows could slip back into the upper 30s for Thursday and Friday nights.
