MEMPHIS, Tenn. — After closing for remodeling in February 2024, the Chick-Fil-A in Dyersburg, Tennessee, is set to reopen on Thursday, May 23, 2024.
In a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development back in December 2023, the chain announced they would temporarily close the restaurant on Lake Road starting Feb. 6, 2024, leaving 84 employees out of work.
According to a new release announcing the reopening, Chick-Fil-A said the newly renovated store at 2440 Lake Rd. will have about 120 full and part-time employees, including about 60 new team members. To learn more about careers at Chick-fil-A, click here.

The company said Clint Myers will serve as the independent franchised local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Dyersburg, which has been in the community for more than 12 years.
“The opportunity to reopen this restaurant in my hometown fills me with so much excitement and gratitude,” Myers said in the news release. “Dyersburg is, and will forever be, home, and I am honored for the opportunity to serve a community that means so much to me. I’m excited for Guests, both familiar and new, to experience the newly renovated restaurant when we reopen our doors.”
Chick-fil-A, Inc. said it donated $25,000 to Feeding America and efforts of the Mid-South Food Bank in honor of the new restaurant. The store is also recognizing 100 local heroes with free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
