Watch: Memphis Police release video of Oak Hall burglary suspects

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have released surveillance video of the crooks who broke into a clothing store at the Regalia Shopping Center.

The Memphis Police Department (MPD) responded to a burglar alarm call on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, around 1 a.m. at the Oak Hall clothing store in the 6100 block of Poplar Ave, where officers found a broken window. 

Surveillance video shows at least six suspects in hoodies, masks, and gloves armed with bolt cutters and bags. The suspects got in by breaking through glass and cutting the security wire.

A cash register and merchandise, including several bottles of fragrances, were stolen from the store, according to MPD. Some items were found nearby.

Anyone with information on the break-in is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH. 

This is just one of the latest burglaries in a string of smash and grab crimes across the Greater Memphis area.

Burglary & Theft of Property Oak Hall 6150 Poplar Avenue Report #2311023100ME MEMPHIS, TN – On November 8, 2023, around 1:00 a.m., officers responded to a burglary and theft that occurred at Oak Hall. The suspects stole several bottles of fragrances. Video surveillance captured the theft and showed 6 unknown suspects covered with hoodies, face masks, and gloves. The suspects were armed with bolt cutters and bags. The suspects forced entry by breaking the glass and cutting through the security wire. Please see the video attached. -Suspect #1 appears to be a male with a thin build, wearing a dark hoodie, dark overalls, and two-tone shoes armed with a large tool. -Suspect #2 appears to be a male with a thin build. He is wearing a bright orange/red hoodie, light pants, and black and white Nike shoes with a swoosh on each side. -Suspect #3 appears to be a male with a very thin build, wearing a black hoodie with wording across the chest and white pants. -Suspect #4 appears to be a male with a thin build. He is wearing a light blue hoodie, white pants, and light-colored tennis shoes. -Suspect #5 appears to be a make, thin build, wearing a white hoodie, light-colored pants, and white shoes. -Suspect #6 appears to be an Amle, a thin build a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes. No arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
