MPD searching for suspects caught on camera stealing from semi trailer

Memphis Police officers said the theft happened in the 3200 block of Holmes Rd. about 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 2, 2024.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police released video as they search for the suspects caught on camera stealing boxes from the back of a semi-trailer.

MPD officers said the theft happened in the 3200 block of Holmes Rd. about 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 2, 2024. Video shows a black Infiniti SUV pull up to the trailer and a suspect in an orange hoodie, tan jacket, and black pants gets out then goes into the trailer.

The SUV backs up and another suspect in a black and white toboggan, maroon sweater, and black pants with gray pants underneath gets out to open the trunk, while the first suspects grabs boxes.

Investigators said the two loaded up the SUV then took off westbound on Holmes Rd.

Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 901-528-CASH. 

Theft from a Semi-Trailer 3292 Holmes Road Report #2401020499ME MEMPHIS, TN - On January 2, 2024, at approximately 7:30 a.m., a black Infiniti SUV was observed backing up to a trailer. A Black male subject wearing an orange hoodie, tan jacket, and black pants entered the trailer and was seen passing boxes to another Black male wearing a black and white toboggan, maroon sweater, and black pants with gray pants underneath. The subjects left westbound Holmes Road from the location. No arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation. The video is attached.
